Centre Director at Albion Park
I have been lucky enough to work with the amazing families and community at the Albion Park centre for the past 4 years.
I have recently been appointed to the position of Centre Director and I am loving my new role. Previous to this I was Assistant Director of the centre for over 3 years.
Here at Albion Park, we aim to have all children and families feel valued, supported and part of our “Family”. We really work on building trusting relationships with you all and we love celebrating each milestone and achievement with you during your time with us.
My mission as a director is therefore to be approachable, welcoming and have all families feel that they can discuss their needs with me openly and that we can work together to achieve goals.
I believe children learn best through a curriculum strong in playbased learning with passionate educators guiding and supporting their ideas, needs and strengths. Building on the children’s interests fosters a sense of belonging and enhances the children’s desire to learn through investigation, exploration and creativity.
Would highly recommend this centre. The staff are so friendly and happy all the time. They make drop off and pick ups such an easy experience. My child is actively involved in so many creative and interactive activities and the best part is I get an email every day with lovely photos and information about all the things they did throughout the day, it is an excellent idea and again a creative way to keep parents informed and feeling involved, it also allows me to continue the learning process at home with my child.
The centre itself is beautifully presented and my daughter simply loves out door play time. The bright colours and well designed classrooms makes it feel very homely and comfortable. Apart from the friendly staff I absolutely love their innovative meal plan and advice board, I get to see every day the healthy meals my child has eaten, how much and how ofter and if and how long they have slept or rested throughout the day, just another great idea to provide important information to the parents. Could not recommned a more friendly, healthy and happy environment for children to grow and learn. Doing a great job Albion Park.”
